There are many different influences that can push teachers and students to use technology especially todays society. In today’s society there is technology everywhere we go with phones, TV’s, tablets, etc. Because technology is everywhere it is inevitable for students and teachers to bring it into the classroom. Teachers can use the technology in ways to better reach he students and get the lesson to them easier.             An organization called the International Society Technology in Education (ISTE) which supports technology use in educational contexts worldwide. This organization publishes two journals as well as holds an annual conference. Hello, my name is Amanda Torres I am twenty-one years old born and raised in Miami, FL. I currently reside in Tallahassee, FL where I attend Florida State University. I am a junior at FSU working towards my bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences and a minor in Education. I plan to teach at the elementary level when I graduate which is something, I have always known I wanted to do. I work a part time job as the manager of Smallcakes Cupcakery Tallahassee, I have worked there since I first moved here for school and absolutely love and enjoy my job along with those I work with. I would consider my prior experiences with technology as being basic knowledge. I have previously used smartphones, laptops, the internet, Microsoft word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
