I found a website actually created by a past teacher of mine and found lots of cool elements to it. First of I love that she calls her classroom “The Happy Room” creating an inviting positive space for her students. She has separate pages for each levels of classes she teaches including, AP Macroeconomics/Government, Honors/Gifted American History, and Honors/Gifted Economics/Government. Under these pages she includes sections explaining what they did the past week in class, homework assignments, important due dates, important links for homework, and any upcoming events. She also includes separate pages for Scholarship/College Information, an About Me, and Contact Me. Students now use many different software’s as technology is such a big part of their education process. I am personally one of those students who has used many different software’s each with many different purposes. One I used in high school is called Khan Academy it has video tutorials and practice problems that help students with many different school subjects. This program really helped me get the practice I needed to fully understand topics being taught in class in order for me to succeed and pass my classes. Because I have tried this software myself and know it can really help students succeed, I would most definitely have my students use it. Another program I have used especially in college and would have my students use is google drive/doc. This software allows you to easily save, edit and share documents.
